Hi Friends,
What an amazing night we had tonight at our gospel campaign near the Middle East! I’m in awe of what the Lord has done and what He’s doing in this country!

Tonight when we walked onto the platform, we saw a sea of people who were eagerly waiting for us to arrive and preach the gospel. Initially, what thrilled me the most was the amount of people who were in attendance who were noticeably not Christian. In fact, when I made the alter call for salvation, I was very diligent to tell those who were already Christian that they didn’t need to receive salvation again and I asked for only those who had never received Christ before to stand, since everyone was sitting.
When I made the call for those to stand who had never received Christ, what we saw was unbelievable. Thousands stood to their feet, actually from stage it looked like 70-80% of the crowd stood to their feet to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior for the very first time. Hallelujah!!!
It thrills my soul to see so many people come to Jesus. This is what it’s all about. I love to see people get healed and delivered and I love to preach in churches and minister to Christians, but I long to be on a dusty field in a foreign land preaching the cross and seeing thousands of people come to faith in Jesus Christ. Now the local pastors are following up with all the new believers and will get them plugged into the local churches for discipleship.
After praying for salvation, I briefly taught on the baptism of the Holy Spirit and gave everyone an opportunity to be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. It was glorious as thousands of people all over the field where noticeably being touched and filled. Then, I prayed for the sick and Jesus did mighty miracles. Bones, backs and legs where healed in Jesus’ name. One person who just got out of the hospital from a terrible illness received a healing tonight. One man had these very home made casts on both his hands that where made out of a white wrap and a wooden ruler. I asked him why the doctors didn’t put a proper cast on his broken wrists and he told me that he could’t afford to buy them. But tonight, the goodness of God was on full display. The Lord Jesus touched his wrists and healed both of his wrists. Praise God!
There were so many other testimonies I could share! I am rejoicing over the greatest testimony of all, the testimony of thousands who have now gone from darkness to light, from bondage to freedom, from sin to salvation and from death to light in Jesus’ name.
Thank you for standing with us financially to help us reach the unreached with the gospel and thank you for praying for us. It means so much to know you’re with us. Please consider sowing into our next gospel crusade in November of this year. Tomorrow night, we will be doing a small crusade a few hours away from here and I hope to give you another update before we head home.
We love you and God bless you,
Chris and Amanda Mikkelson
