Dear Ministry Partner,
Last night was one of the most special nights of crusade ministry I’ve ever been a part of!
(Sorry in advance for the long post, there’s just too many incredible things to share)
Last night was the third and final night of our gospel crusade here in Orlando, FL and all I can say is that it was epic! There really aren’t words to describe what took place last night and this week but I’ll try.
As you know, after the Covid lockdown extended much longer than we were told it would be, Amanda and I were feeling we need to do a crusade in Orlando, but not just a crusade, we wanted to help the poor community and use that as a way to reach more people with the gospel.
Crime, depression, poverty, suicide and murders are going through the roof in Pine Hills (Orlando community) and we wanted to do something to stop it. So we devised a plan to give groceries, bill pays, reading glasses, a car and much more to help people in the Pine Hills community of Orlando, FL. As a result, we new we would have high percentages of lost people in attendance at our meetings, even though we also promoted a gospel message, and gospel music at the event.
Just as I suspected, all three nights, the majority of the people in attendance were people who had very little to no Christian or church background. They didn’t know how to worship, they didn’t know all the right “church things” to do, they were just lost people who were curious about what we were doing and some were probably just hoping we would hurry up so they could get their gift. But it was beautiful.
After worship I began to preach a simple gospel message to the crowd of over a thousand people and the Holy Spirit took over. You could hear a pin drop under that loud metal roof of the Fairgrounds Pavilion as hearts and minds were being pierced with the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
When I made the call for salvation, hands shot up in the air and when I called them forward, many started coming before I even finished my sentence. The response each night this week, including last night was overwhelming. Again last night, a large majority of those in attendance came forward to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior! Many were crying tears of repentance and love for Jesus as they walked down the aisle. It brought tears to my eyes as I saw the overwhelming amount of people coming to Christ.
Never before in America have I seen such a high percentage unchurched, un-Christian people in one crowd before who met Jesus Christ for the first time. It was absolutely beautiful!
After the prayer for salvation, we saw so many people experience a physical healing in their body. One man came on stage crying and testified that he not only got saved tonight, but Jesus also healed all the pain in his knee. Later that night his wife won a much needed $100 bill pay in our drawing as well. Praise God! (You can watch his testimony here).
Another amazing testimony was of a woman named Becky who told us that she was in a major car accident over four years ago and she almost died and broke her neck. The doctors had to replace several vertebrae in her neck and ever since she’s been in excruciating pain. However, on the second night, Jesus healed her and when she came back to the crusade the next day, she testified that she slept all night for the first time in over four years! We then baptized many in water who just got saved or were saved earlier this week. One woman and her son received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior tonight and then decided to get water baptized together as well. It’s amazing to see not just individual lives being changed, but entire families. Praise God!
After the water baptisms and giveaways, we did a drawing for the car we bought to give away. I prayed fervently on the mic as I drew the card asking God to bless the right person with this car. I read the number off and a shout came from the back of the room. A woman came forward and my team told me she has an amazing story.
Back in September, her house caught on fire and destroyed everything, including her car parked in the front driveway. She hasn’t had a car since and later told us she was there tonight using a friends car, but she came hoping and believing she would win tonight and she did! Then she showed us pictures and videos of her melted car and her house which burnt to the ground. I’m overwhelmed at how good and loving our God is! The right person won that car! Praise God! This week as been so special and I can’t wait to take this to other cities and states in America. I believe we could impact thousands of impoverished communities with the gospel and see America saved in Jesus name!
