Hi Friend,

I trust and pray this email finds you well and blessed!

Last week on the LIVE broadcast we were honored to have my friend Chad Dunlap on the program, as we discussed the topic, “How to Make God-Decisions, Over Good Decisions.” Here are a few thoughts I took away from our time together, I hope they encourage you today!

Research estimates that the average adult makes 35,000 “remotely conscious” decisions per day. Life is a series of connected decisions that can lead us right into our destiny! One of the greatest gifts that God ever gave man is the gift of the free-will – the ability to make our own decisions. With that God given free-will, how do we know whether we are making God-decisions, and not just good decisions?

When making God-decisions the most important thing to consider is, “does this decision line up with the Word of God?” If it does not line up with the Scriptures – or the nature and character of God – we should not move forward! We also need to pay attention to whether or not we sense the peace of God in the decision we’re making. Many times the Lord will direct us either by the presence or absence of His peace as we’re praying for an answer. In Psalm 23, David wrote, “He leads me beside STILL waters.” (Psalm 23:2) Following that inner peace is a good way of determining whether or not we are making a good decision, or a godly one, but it’s important to note that just because we have his peace on it, does not mean it’s all going to be easy!

Lastly, one way to determine whether we’re making a God decision or not is to determine how much faith and trust in God that decision is going to take. The Lord usually leads us to make decisions that are going to require absolute dependence on Him to see them through. He’s the God who makes all things possible – even when they seem impossible!

Even though we’ve been given a free-will, it’s necessary for us to really look for His guidance as we live our lives. On our own we can really miss the mark apart from His supernatural direction. In Proverbs 3:5-6 it says, “Trust in the Lord will all our heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”

Today I want to encourage you to acknowledge the Lord in every decision you make, and I believe that your steps will be ordered by Him and you will have good success in all you do! (Psalm 37:23)

I’m praying and believing for DIVINE APPOINTMENTS not just GOOD OPPORTUNITIES for all of us today, in Jesus’ Name!

Please join me today at 11am Eastern Time for another LIVE episode of Salvation Today TV.  You can join us LIVE on Facebook HERE or on YouTube HERE. We hope to see you there.

God bless you,
