I hope your week is going great so far!

Last week on my LIVE Salvation Today broadcast we discussed the topic, “How to Prosper at All Times.” Let’s take some time together, and see what the Word of God is saying to us this morning from last week’s study. 

I believe that it’s God’s will for his people to prosper and to live a victorious life! When Jesus defeated sin, hell and the grave through His death, burial and resurrection – we entered into that victory! Just because we may go through hardship and difficulties at times, it doesn’t change the fact that it’s true. Now that the battle has been won – FOREVER – we no longer fight for the victory, but instead we fight from the place of victory! When those hardships and difficulties arise, we need to enforce the victory that’s already ours, and prosper at all times, in Jesus Name! 
 
In Numbers chapter 13, we read the story of the twelve spies who were sent to spy out the land that God had promised to the nation of Israel. The Bible tells us that after spying out the land, 10 of the spies returned with an evil report of unbelief. They decided to focus on the giants in the land instead of what God had told them was theirs, and because of this an entire generation had to die in the wilderness before they could enter the promised land. An entire generation passed, except for the two spies that came back with a report of faith – Joshua and Caleb. 

In Joshua chapter 1, we read how God came back to Joshua and again promised him and the nation that same land. This is God’s word that came to Joshua: “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” (Joshua 1:7) Joshua and his people took that word and charged into the land of Israel that had been promised to them!

That is a key in scripture for how to prosper at all times, and to live a successful and victorious life: MEDITATION ON GOD’S WORD! God told Joshua that if he would meditate on the word of God, that he would be prosperous and successful! Today, I want you to encourage you not to look at your circumstances, but to meditate on the promises of God! Don’t focus on the size of your problems, meditate on the greatness of your God! Don’t have an evil report of unbelief, doubt and worry, but meditate on what God has spoken in His word – and then speak it out by faith!
