Hi Friend,

A couple weeks ago on our live broadcast – Salvation Today – I had the privilege of having my wife Amanda join me as we spoke on the subject of, “People of Faith”. Let’s start our day by taking a few moments to draw a few thoughts taken from last week’s episode.

The entirety of the Bible is filled with stories and testimonies of “People of Faith”, who put their trust in God and lived blessed and victorious because of it. We also read the accounts of many who missed out on that blessing and victory because of their unbelief. God is not a respecter of persons (Romans 2:11). All of the promises of God are yes and in Him amen (2 Corinthians 1:20). This means that our receiving from Him and all that He’s promised in His word, is according to our faith.

We looked into the thirteenth chapter of the Book of Numbers and read the story of the twelve Israelites that were sent to spy out the land that God had promised them (Numbers 13:1-33). Note that in verse two that God said to “spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving them.” God wasn’t asking for them to go and come back with their opinions of the land, He said He was already giving it to them – it was a promise! When God Himself promises something to His children, it’s a guarantee! We only need to believe and activate our faith to receive it, and do exactly what He says. Faith takes what God has promised and supplied!

We read that upon their return, ten of the twelve spies came back with an “evil report of unbelief”, but Joshua and Caleb spoke in faith saying, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.” That my friend is the language of faith that pleases God! It’s also the type of spoken faith that gets answers from God. In the end, the only two of that group of people that entered the promised land were Joshua and Caleb, the People of Faith.

I want to encourage you today, that whatever God has promised you personally, prophetically or as a promise in His word, it’s yours! I encourage you not to allow your mouth to speak out the fear, worry, doubt and unbelief that may arise because of what you may see, hear or feel. The circumstances may be stacked against you, but if you can decide to align the faith in your heart, along with the confession of faith in your words, you will be well able to overcome! This morning let’s decide to believe God’s Word, act on it and really be “People of Faith”.

Please join me today at 11 am Eastern Time for another LIVE episode of Salvation Today TV. You can join us LIVE on Facebook HERE or on Youtube HERE. We hope to see you there.

God Bless You!
